About the Firm
As an attorney in private practice in Santa Barbara, Greg D. Merrill opened his own law practice in 2004. Prior to opening his own practice Mr. Merrill worked as a real
estate and business attorney as well as a corporate Chief Financial Officer.
While the central core of Mr. Merrill's practice is estate planning law, his firm also provides clients with legal assistance in business, asset protection and Medi-Cal planning. Mr.
Merrill's passion and commitment is to help others in the stewardship of their assets and in so doing provide for the security of their loved ones, protect hard earned assets, reduce estate
taxes, and avoid or minimize the costs and delays of probate.

Mr. Merrill earned his B.A. degree from Westmont College in Santa Barbara and his J.D. degree from the Santa Barbara College of Law. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the
Santa Barbara Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and is a member of WealthCounsel
Advisors Forum - a nationwide collaborative of trust and estate planning attorneys, tax and business professionals.
